My Goal: provide the best financial advice by eliminating sales agendas, commissions, percentage fees, and the one-size-fits-all approach. Give straight talk, honest answers, and put my clients' interests first. Some call it "Fee-Only, Fiduciary Advice".
I have been a CPA since 1983. I was first licensed in Iowa and later my wife Vicki and I moved to the State of Indiana where I have practiced for many years.
In 2010 I decided that I wanted to practice public accounting. I founded Putman CPA Solutions, LLC after a long successful career in corporate accounting with Alcoa, Inc.
Putman CPA Solutions, LLC was an accounting and tax preparation/planning firm. I sold the firm in early 2018 to focus solely on the areas of personal financial & tax planning.
My undergraduate degrees were from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Marketing and St Ambrose University with a BA in Accounting. In the year 2000, I earned a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Iowa.
I am a licensed CPA in the State of Indiana. I am also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. I am a Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) with the National Association of Registered Social Security Analysts.
I believe in community service and have worked in the past in various capacities with Junior Achievement and The United Way. For four years I was an adjunct Accounting Instructor for Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville, Indiana. I am currently active at Newburgh Methodist Church. I have spent many hours volunteering at the Warrick County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity helping people achieve their dreams of home ownership.
